Today’s puzzles

7 challenges a day. Everyone in the world gets the same boards, generated from the date itself, and they reset at midnight UTC.

How the daily works

There is no server behind this. The date is the seed: the same three lines of arithmetic run in your browser and in everyone else’s, so the boards come out identical without anything being sent anywhere.

That has one consequence worth knowing — your streak and your results live in this browser only. They are not tied to an account, because there are no accounts. Clearing your site data clears them, and a different device starts fresh.

What resets, and when

Midnight UTC, not midnight where you are. A player in Seoul and a player in Los Angeles need to be solving the same puzzle on the same day for the shared result to mean anything, and UTC is the only boundary that gives them that.

Streaks

A streak counts consecutive days you finished a given puzzle. Miss a day and it resets to one on your next attempt. Your longest streak is kept separately, so a broken run does not erase the record.
